JobCentre Plus Screening for Equality in Job Adverts

It would appear that JobCentre Plus offices are now doing the work of the Equality Commission (or perhaps preventing the likes of Mr Berry & Miss Keane from their serial litigation actions), and screening jobs advertised. In an article in the Telegraph today, it was reported that a hairdresser was prevented from advertising for a “junior” stylist as this apparently discriminates against older people.
