The State of HR, 2010 Survey
The 2010 State of Human Resources – an annual survey conducted jointly by law firm Speechly Bircham and King’s College London HRM Learning Board – was published this week .
Indications are that 2010 will throw up challenges & opportunities for HR departments & services:
- staffing levels were found to generally have been reduced in 2009, managed with an increase in flexible working, but there are indications this will change in 2010;
- it’s reported that grievances increased during 2009 for nearly a third (29% of respondents, and the study expects a similar number (23%) of increases this year;
- staff turnover is expected to increase in 2010.
Employment Law Clinic will be continuing to monitor & make use of this and other information to ensure we continue in 2010 to offer the best advice & policies for all of our clients.
